A photorealistic vertical candid snapshot inside a cluttered tattoo studio, with the casual, slightly gritty feel of an indie subculture photo taken on a compact camera with a bit of flash.
Slightly right of center, a woman in her mid-twenties sits on a black office chair with her legs crossed and one hand resting on the edge of the seat. Her head tilts slightly to one side, and she looks straight into the camera with a calm, languid, slightly detached expression. She has an oval face, smudged dark eyeshadow along her lower lids, and glossy full lips. Her layered dark brown bob fades to lighter brown at the ends, with wispy, messy bangs. She wears a fitted white long-sleeve knit mini dress with a slightly off-shoulder neckline, printed all over with small orange goldfish, and cream ribbed knit over-the-knee socks.
On the left, a tattoo artist in a white tank top bends over her workstation, focused on her work, with a lavender ribbon tied in her hair. Behind the woman on the right, a friend with long black hair, a lip piercing and a dark graphic T-shirt stands quietly, looking at the camera with a neutral face. The walls are covered with tattoo flash sketches, and a bright articulated work lamp glows above the workstation, its light slightly blown out.
The lighting is cool fluorescent and lamp light with a subtle direct flash, giving the scene a teal-gray color cast. The orange goldfish print is the only warm accent in the frame. Camera slightly below her eye level, visible film grain, candid and unpolished. No text or logos.
