Portrait of a young man with deep brown skin and close-cropped hair dyed electric blue at the tips, sitting on the hood of a rusted sedan in an empty parking lot. His amber eyes stare directly into the camera with a lazy half-lidded expression, his full lips pressed together in a tight line. He wears an oversized black hoodie with the sleeves pushed to his elbows, revealing a geometric tattoo of concentric circles on his left forearm. Silver rings on three fingers of his right hand, which rests flat on the car hood beside his thigh. His legs hang over the bumper, black high-top sneakers scuffed at the toes. Harsh sodium streetlight from above and behind throws a hot orange glow across his shoulders and the back of his neck while his face stays mostly in cool shadow, one bright catchlight in each eye. Grounded and watchful.
