A distorted peephole shot looks out at a woman standing in an apartment hallway, holding a giant bunch of balloons and smiling far too widely. She has long blonde hair pulled into a high ponytail with a big polka-dot bow, and ice-blue eyes. She wears a sparkly gold party dress with puffed sleeves, a paper sash across her chest, and a pointed party hat held on by an elastic strap under her chin. The hallway behind her has green striped wallpaper, a faded brown carpet, and a flickering ceiling light that gives everything a warm yellow cast. One balloon has drifted up and is pressed against the ceiling above her. She leans in close to the door, as if she already heard someone inside.
