It works especially well for portraits, fashion editorials, detectives, gothic characters, urban night scenes, and poster-like compositions. Strength can range from subtle noir mood to a bold inked and painted graphic look. Recommended strength: 0.8–1.0. No trigger word is required; “blackened” may be used as an optional style cue.
